The St. Patrick's Day Parade should be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11 am. See the parade's website here for the latest updates.
The Parade will start at the Capitol building. The parade then takes a left onto Main Street, and left on Asylum Avenue, a left on Ford Street, and then ends by the Memorial Arch.

Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade: The 52nd annual parade starts at the Capitol building. Traditionally this event brings together many different communities from the Greater Hartford area to celebrate the Celtic culture. Come down to the parade route early and get your seat.
Admission is Free. The parade is a rain or shine event. However, when public safety is an issue, the parade reserves the right to reschedule to another day.
If it is a cold day, bring a warm hat, warm gloves, and warm shoes. For a sunny day, you’ll want to bring sunglasses, suntan lotion, and a hat. The parade goes on rain, shine or snow. And of course, it is traditional to be dressed in GREEN (or orange or white – colors of the Irish flag)!
Mass transit is a great way to get in and out to see the parade.
