    1. Delray Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival

They could have changed or cancelled it after we last updated this page. The Parade is on Saturday. Since 1968, the Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been Florida’s premiere parade. Although the parade starts at 2 p.m., Parade spectators start lining up along the parade route by 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. Many people bring folding chairs to use along the sidewalks to make the parade waiting/watching time more comfortable. Keep in mind, you can not sit on Atlantic Avenue street - as this area must be clear for vehicles and floats. The parade has become so popular, that it’s been extended 5 blocks West of Swinton Ave. to West 5th Ave. This is a prime spot to set up and watch the parade. Irish dancing, traditional pipe and drum bands, food, beer and live music at a festival Friday and Saturday. Saturday along Atlantic Avenue between Gleason Street and SW 5th Ave.
